This fantastic piece of handcrafted art was created in Middle Tennessee.  My father-in-law had a large piece of cherry sitting in his attic for 30 years.  It had been eaten by termites 20 years ago, but he thought I could make something out of it.  I think he was right!

I was able to create three of these of these pieces from that one board.  This piece, the termites really loved, which left a lot of area for me to fill.  The blue in this piece is filled with a polyester resin dyed blue, with a pearl additive that makes it shimmer in person (photos can't really capture it).  My other two listings can be found here:

Light resin:

Medium Resin:

These are all 45" long, about 10" high, and 1' thick.  This is solid cherry, none of that stained plywood here!  As cherry ages, it will develop a beautiful color slightly darker than this.
